Donated Artwork
This image is part of an Editorial shot in New York in 2015 for German Vogue with Stylist Patti Wilson and Model Daphne Groeneveld. The concept was Daphne as an Alien visitor exploring Times Square at night through the neons of the city. The three waited until dark to shoot. They encountered all sorts of local aliens wandering through the city. It was an adventure. It is one of Summerton's favourite images as it also shows our character taking a photo, so it’s a self portrait of sorts, showing the idea of being an alien exploring new lands through fresh eyes. A larger version of this image is held in the Nicola Erni Collection in Switzerland.
